Interior design studio [Daytrip](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cloisters-interiors) works in collaboration with [Studio 30](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/br-house) to complete the look of the ground floor in a home located in North London. The Highbury home is defined by organic curved forms to result in a minimal space with clean lines throughout. The [Victorian terrace home gets an extension](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lee-terrace) to the back and sides in order to increase space without disrupting details such as the paneling and skirting.

Daytrip noticed an opportunity to take a new aesthetic route and Iwan Halstead, the studio's director explains the idea to Dezeen. "Our contemporary interior shell treatments provided a clean, architectural approach, with minimal plaster and skirting details, sharp timber floor and stair nosings and high ceilings that are ornament-free. The contrast of gallery-like minimalism with organic forms intrigued the client and we decided to explore this."
