David Stockton has created a [portable dishwasher](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/highspeed-dishwasher) that uses the simple principles of manual labor in order to clean forks and knives. This eco device is a small, circular contraption with a handle on top for ease of portability. Simply load the plates and utensils into the [rotating dish rack](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/whirlpool-spinload-rack), fill it with water and turn the handle to begin the process. Used water can be dispelled by opening the flap on the bottom. You can even dry everything by rotating the rack handle further. This eco dishwasher is a brilliant concept that's perfect for families who are camping. Not only is it practical, but it also contributes to the [eco lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/waste-no-space-campaign). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.0/10 - Popularity: 29% | Activity: 52% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 10% men, 90% women - Primary generations: Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Eco-portable Dishwashers:** Opportunity for developing innovative portable dishwashers that are eco-friendly and suitable for outdoor use. - **Manual Labor Cleaning Solutions:** Potential for creating manual labor-based cleaning devices that offer convenience and eco-consciousness. - **Eco-conscious Camping Solutions:** Demand for eco-friendly solutions for camping and outdoor activities, such as portable dishwashers. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Appliances:** Appliance manufacturers could explore the development of portable, eco-friendly dishwashers for outdoor use. - **Sustainable Living:** Opportunity for sustainable living brands to offer innovative manual labor-based cleaning solutions for eco-conscious consumers. - **Outdoor Equipment:** Outdoor equipment suppliers can consider adding eco-friendly camping solutions, such as portable dishwashers, to their product offerings. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Portable Handheld Dishwasher](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/automated-portable-handheld-dishwasher.md) - [Small Space Dishwashers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portable-dishwasher.md) - [Affordable Portable Dishwashers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shabosh.md) - [Hyper-Fast Countertop Dishwashers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/capsule-solo.md) - [Powerful Small-Space Dishwashers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lissome-r1.md) - [Portable Ultrasonic Dishwashers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/multifunctional-ultrasonic-dishwasher.md) - [Entry-Level Countertop Dishwashers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bugu-dishwasher.md) - [Sterilizing Countertop Dishwashers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/karlxtom-countertop-dishwasher.md) - [Steam-Powered Dishwasher Appliances](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kitchen-steam-cleaner.md)
