This mesmerizing [metal sculpture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shiyuan-xu) was created to honor the life and work of Rabbi Yossi Raichik, who helped many children after the catastrophic disaster. The book features a beautiful [burst of butterflies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/murder-hornet-ring) that represent the 2,547 little ones he saved, and its pages contain words from those he touched. David Kracov was commissioned to create the award and the result is inspiring and extraordinary; a magnificent [tribute to a hero](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/et302-memorial). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.3/10 - Popularity: 51% | Activity: 41% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Butterfly Tributes:** Creating tributes with butterfly symbols is a growing trend to honor those who made an impact in a positive way. - **Metal Sculptures:** Metal sculptures are gaining popularity, specifically for creating artistic tributes. - **Honoring Heroes:** There is an increasing demand for creative ways to honor those who have made a significant impact in a positive way. ### Where This Applies - **Art and Design:** There is a need for artists and designers to create unique, lasting tributes that honor people in creative and innovative ways. - **Non-profit:** Non-profit organizations can collaborate with artists to create tributes that honor donors and volunteers in a meaningful and artistic way. - **Memorial Services:** Memorial service providers can offer innovative tributes for their clients by collaborating with artists and designers to offer unique and inspiring tributes. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Reflective Public Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flowers-and-butterflies-are-dancing.md) - [Explosion-Damaged Sculpture Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/light-into-darkness.md) - [Science-Backed Wooden Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/seed-stories.md) - [Reflective Memorial Architecture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sanctum-of-trees.md) - [Transformative Survivor Tattoos](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mark-of-life.md) - [Metal-Constructed Yoga Shalas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/metamorphosis-yoga-shala.md) - [Revolving Bright Kinetic Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/library-of-light.md) - [Insect-Inspired Bronze Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/insect-bronze-sculptures.md) - [Starry-Eyed Dichroic Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/starryeyed-dichroic-sculpture.md)
