To add to that, Wood's art explores parts of Western culture; more specifically, American culture, that we've been indoctrinated with since birth. He examines the things we do, and the things we like and the things we accept as being part of our identity. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.4/10 - Popularity: 2% | Activity: 3% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Modern](https://www.trendhunter.com/modern) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Enlarged Mundanity:** New trend in art to depict mundane scenes in larger-than-life proportions. - **Exploring American Culture:** Increased focus on examining and representing different aspects of American culture in art. - **Appreciating the Everyday:** Growing emphasis on finding value and beauty in the routines and habits of everyday life. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Art:** Opportunity for artists to explore and innovate in the trend of depicting familiar scenes in an enlarged format. - **Museums and Galleries:** Opportunity for galleries and museums to feature and promote art that examines and represents various aspects of American culture. - **Advertising and Marketing:** Opportunity for brands to use the aesthetic of enlarged mundanity in their advertising and marketing campaigns to connect with audiences on a relatable, everyday level. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sculptural Wooden Art Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/out-of-the-blue-exhibition.md) - [Interactive Colorful Art Exhibits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/david-hockney-bigger-closer.md) - [American Art Furniture Exhibits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/american-art-furniture.md) - [Wooden Identity Art Forms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hughmanity.md) - [Pixelated Photographed Art Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/southern-trees.md) - [Glass Beaded Intricate Artworks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/painting-exhibition.md) - [African Identity-Inspired Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/african-identity.md) - [Industrial Art Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sized.md) - [Human Nature-Themed Art Galleries](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sea-im-awake.md)
