For [his more recent series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/still-life-1), David Burdeny traveled around Italy to capture the many beautiful buildings -- including theaters, churches, palaces, libraries and stunning city street views. What makes David Burdeny's photographs different from one's typical vacation snaps is his ability to capture the symmetrical structure of the architecture, as well as the natural lighting that he takes advantage of to help expose it. To capture the images, David Burdeny traveled to Milan, Piemonte, Racconigi and more -- allowing him to show the artfulness of architecture that extends from major cities down to the smallest of municipalities. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.7/10 - Popularity: 52% | Activity: 20% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [World](https://www.trendhunter.com/world) > [Travel](https://www.trendhunter.com/travel) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Immaculate Architecture Photography:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in the photography industry by capturing symmetrical structures and natural lighting in architectural photography. - **Travel Photography:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in the tourism industry by showcasing stunning buildings and city street views through photography. - **Architectural Symmetry:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in the architecture industry by emphasizing and capturing the symmetrical structure of buildings through photography. ### Who This Affects Most - **Photography:** Opportunity for innovation and growth in the photography industry by emphasizing and capturing the symmetry and natural lighting of architecture. - **Tourism:** Opportunity for growth and innovation in the tourism industry with photography that showcases stunning buildings and city street views. - **Architecture:** Opportunity for promoting innovation and creativity in the architecture industry by stressing the importance of symmetry and natural light in building design. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sensual Luxe Fashion Boutiques](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/montenapoleone-boutique.md) - [Painting-Immersive Photo Exhibits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/new-ground-exhibition.md) - [Reimagined Bright Italian Interiors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/italian-embassy-london.md) - [Renovated Maximalist Apartments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-di-fantasia.md) - [Interactive Colorful Art Exhibits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/david-hockney-bigger-closer.md) - [Striking Glass Portraits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/glass-portraits.md) - [Mid-Century Italian Ceramic Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arianna-de-luca.md) - [Grey-Praised Minimal Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/elogio-del-grigio.md) - [Restored Historic Cliffside Hotels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/borgo-santandrea.md)
