I find Dave Collinson's '[2010 Illustration](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/halftone)' portfolio fascinating. Not only because the work itself is amazing, but because there's a simplicity in the [extreme intricacy of his craft](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/printed-decors). Perhaps it's the muted palette or the thin strokes, but I don't find myself lost in the details. Instead, I'm able to appreciate each piece as a whole.

Based in Brisbane, Australia, Dave Collinson also works as a motions graphic designer. Focusing on fashion and female forms, I can't wait to see what he has in store for 2011.
