Seen here are his renditions of Iron Man, Captain America, the Hulk and Thor as they would look if they were still the size of schoolyard toddlers. Despite their age, the [kid avengers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fantastic-four-first-steps) still look as though they’re capable of major butt-kicking. Adding to the fun of these Darren Tibbles illustrations is the inventive ways he’s incorporated each superhero’s equipment into each image. The boy dressed as Iron Man is wearing sports padding as his armor, the [child Captain America](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/myprotein-captain-america) defends himself with a patriotically painted trash can lid and kid Thor has a wooden mallet and a dirty red blanket as a cape. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.8/10 - Popularity: 67% | Activity: 40% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 90% men, 10% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Pop Culture](https://www.trendhunter.com/popculture) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Child Superhero Costumes:** Opportunity for innovative costumes that allow children to dress up as superhero characters in a creative and age-appropriate way. - **Playground-sized Toddler Illustrations:** Potential for children's entertainment companies to create illustrations and products featuring popular superheroes depicted as adorable playground-sized toddlers. - **Incorporating Superhero Equipment:** Room for toy manufacturers to develop interactive toys that mimic the superhero equipment shown in the illustrations, providing children with a unique play experience. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Children's Clothing and Costumes:** Industry can explore the creation of child-sized superhero costumes that are both visually appealing and safe for play. - **Entertainment and Publishing:** Opportunity for companies to create children's books, animations, and merchandise based on the concept of toddler-sized superheroes. - **Toy Manufacturing:** Potential for toy companies to develop and market interactive toys inspired by the superhero equipment shown in the illustrations, capturing the imagination of young fans. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Superhero-Themed Cookies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sprinkle-mini-cookies.md) - [Cooling Superhero Candy Products](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/marvels-avengers-12count-assorted-tray.md) - [Reimagined Beloved Character Comics](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/marvel-and-disney.md) - [Superhero-Inspired LEGO Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/marvel-superhero-lego-toys.md) - [Kid-Friendly AR Helmets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ar-helmet.md) - [Healthy Superhero-Themed Snacks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/too-yumm.md) - [Washable Superhero Rugs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/superhero-rugs.md) - [Heroic Bedtime Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bedtime-defenderz.md) - [Comic-Inspired Soda Cans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-heroes.md)
