That being said, you need to be a really big fan to purchase this piece of furniture. Why? Because, this creation from DSDStudio costs a hefty $11,999. That money buys you a chair with a beechwood frame and [Alcantara](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-pinnacle) upholstery. It also gets you membership in an exclusive club. Only 10 of these Dark Side Armchairs are being made, and nine are already spoken for. Pricing aside, this Darth Vader armchair looks both incredibly detailed and comfortable. The legendary Sith lord has been the inspiration for a few [stools and chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/polarisgo-chair) in the past, but none of those have the Dark Side Armchair's level of detail or size. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.2/10 - Popularity: 60% | Activity: 28% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/furniture) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Expensive Fandom Furniture:** Opportunity for high-end furniture brands to create niche products for dedicated fans. - **Limited Edition Collectibles:** Opportunity for collectible manufacturers to create exclusive and rare items for avid fans. - **Character-inspired Furniture:** Opportunity for furniture designers to create unique and immersive themed pieces for pop culture enthusiasts. ### Where This Applies - **Furniture Manufacturing:** Opportunity for furniture manufacturers to tap into the high-end fan market. - **Collectibles:** Opportunity for collectible manufacturers to expand their offerings and cater to the luxury market. - **Design and Decor:** Opportunity for designers and decorators to incorporate pop culture elements into their projects and appeal to niche audiences. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sci-Fi Gaming Chair Covers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/secretlab-star-wars.md) - [Celestial Silkscreened Armchairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vanity-fair-xc-armchair.md) - [Branded Superhero Gaming Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/noblechairs-hero-iron-man-chair.md) - [Supercar-Inspired Lounge Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/prova-mo53-lounge.md) - [Sci-Fi Large-Scale Block Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ucs-death-star.md) - [Sci-Fi Scene-Inspired Lego Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/scifi-sceneinspired-lego-set.md) - [Driver Seat-Inspired Office Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mercedesamg-office-chair.md) - [Hand-Knit Sci-Fi Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/handknit-scifi-sculpture.md) - [Dark Knight Gamer Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/secretlab-titan-evo-2022-the-batman-movie-edition.md)
