There is nothing unnatural about dying animals, in fact, one could argue that nothing is more natural than death. However, looking at these [sculptures of suspended decay](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/funerary-urn), one can't help but infer that the connotations surrounding the subject's demise is somehow abnormal or even freakish. The lifelike representation of something established as a molded work of art creates an uneasy relationship between the audience and the sculpture, as if the viewer is somehow responsible for what they are witnessing. One can't help but feel a slight sense of guilt and sympathy when looking at these [wonderfully evocative sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/multimedia-art-installation) by an extremely talented artist. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.8/10 - Popularity: 59% | Activity: 18% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Morbid Sculptures:** Art pieces that use suspended death to evoke emotions. - **Lifelike Replicas:** Sculptures that trick the mind into thinking something is alive. - **Emotional Stimuli:** Art that evokes emotions beyond aesthetic appreciation. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Art and Sculpture:** Opportunity to create unique and thought-provoking sculptures that evoke emotions. - **Entertainment and Media:** Opportunity to use art pieces as a tool for emotional stimuli in various media platforms. - **Marketing and Advertising:** Opportunity to use art to evoke emotions in advertising campaigns and branding strategies. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Human Embraced-Inspired Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wallmounted-sculpture.md) - [Human Torso-Inspired Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lene-bdker.md) - [Otherworldly Wooden Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wooden-sculptures-1.md) - [Artful Bronze Horse Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/deborah-butterfield-1.md) - [Surreal Love-Themed Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/joakim-ojanen.md) - [Striking Urban Wildlife Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/clare-allin.md) - [Broken-Aesthetic Sculpture Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/brokenaesthetic-sculpture-collection.md) - [Digital Archetype Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/christian-rex-van-minnen-1.md) - [Glamorous Artful Bronze Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sweet-jane.md)
