Danny Lane is a London-based designer that has a love affair with glass. The first picture in the above gallery is one of Danny Lane’s creations that is made up of [fractured and stacked glass](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/murano-glass-stools). Lane states he likes to “exploit the strength of glass under compression and combine feats of design and engineering to produce work breathtaking in its apparent simplicity.”

His “[Stacking Chair](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lightness-of-form)” is certainly a modern art feat, as is his marvelous [Burr Elm table](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/don-heston-studio), which is also pictured in the gallery above.
