If you have old hardcover books that you no longer want, let the Daniel Speight Book Block project take care of them. Speight is a graphic artist from London who collects discarded books and draws on them. When the hardcovers are lined up in a row with the binding facing towards the wall, the books create images of cartoon London architecture.

Speight uses what he describes as "a new form of [hand crafted screenprinting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mladinska-knjiga-printing-house)" to get the images onto the spines of the books. The Daniel Speight Book Block project pays homage to [iconic London landmarks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bland-castles) as well as displays lesser known architectural pieces that are aesthetically pleasing.

Daniel Speight gives [old books new meaning](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/4442-book) by turning them into art pieces that are tributes to London's finest buildings. They also beautify cluttered bookshelves.
