Daniel Arsham is introducing a new modified version of the [Porsche](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/veiled-porsche) 1955 ‘356 Speedster’ inspired by the Japanese concept of ‘[Wabi Sabi](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kod-hotel),’ also known as “a world view that finds beauty and serenity in the simple, imperfect, and impermanent.” The ultra-rare two-seater convertible has been transformed into a unique vehicle thanks to Arsham, now boasting a raw brushed metal exterior.

The interior is designed with Japanese textiles inspired by POGGY and BerBerJin director Yutaka Fujihara, while the open-top cabinet is designed using aged materials like indigo–dyed boro, Sashiko-stitched canvas, and Japanese denim.

The vehicle is finished with a patinated bronze 3D cast on the rear engine grill, while a ‘Bonsai’ New York license plate refers to the vehicle’s name.
