# Industrial Clothes Bins The Dandux Laundry Cart Design Dates Back to the 1800s By Meghan Young | Published 2010-01-21 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dandux-laundry-cart References: [uncrate](http://www.uncrate.com/men/home/bed-bath/dandux-laundry-carts/) & [restorationhardware](http://www.restorationhardware.com/rh/catalog/product/product.jsp?productId=prod1669144) I definitely loving this Dandux Laundry Cart. Although I do not, by any means, use enough clothes to fill any one of these, the look is exactly to my tastes. Perfect for [large families](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oncampus-laundry) or home decor fanatics, the Dandux Laundry Cart is [industrial-quality](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/industrial-collection) with a design that dates back to the 1800s, according to Uncrate.com. Although a little pricey, for a solid steel, canvas and rubber cart, I can’t see those greens going to waste. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.3/10 - Popularity: 22% | Activity: 38% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Gen Z - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Vintage-inspired Home Decor:** Manufacturers and retailers can capitalize on the growing trend for vintage-inspired home decor by producing and selling more Dandux Laundry Carts and other similarly-designed items. - **Sustainable Laundry Solutions:** As consumers become more eco-conscious, there is a growing opportunity for companies to develop laundry carts made from sustainable materials and with a smaller environmental footprint. - **Industrial-style Storage Solutions:** As the trend for industrial-inspired home design continues to grow, manufacturers and retailers can create more industrial-style storage solutions like the Dandux Laundry Cart to meet consumer demand. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Home Decor:** The Dandux Laundry Cart highlights an opportunity for home decor companies to offer more industrial and vintage-inspired products. - **Retail:** Retailers can add the Dandux Laundry Cart and other similar items to their product offerings to capitalize on the growing trend for vintage- and industrial-inspired home decor. - **Sustainable Manufacturing:** Manufacturers of laundry carts and other storage solutions can investigate and implement more sustainable materials and production methods to meet growing consumer demand for sustainable products. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Extra-Large Laundry Backpacks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/steele-canvas.md) - [Air-Circulating Laundry Racks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/clothes-drying-rack-concept.md) - [Space-Efficient Drying Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spaceefficient-drying.md) - [Miniature Clothing Dryers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/biny-dryer.md) - [Retro-Style Home Decor Items](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vipp-holgers-beige-collection.md) - [Collapsible Storage Trolleys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/clax-trolley.md) - [Stylish Shopping Trolleys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/roulette-carts.md) - [Luxurious Bar Carts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/luxurious-bar-cart.md) - [Luxe Laundry Detergent Collabs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ouai-and-dedcool.md)
