# Self-Motivating Melodic Tech The Dancepants MP3 Player Will Only Work When You Run By Robyn Currie | Published 2009-11-18 | Eco Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dancepants-mp3-player References: [designboom](http://www.designboom.com/contest/view.php?contest_pk=28&item_pk=34568&p=3) I was never a big fan of those bicycle lights that would only work as long as you kept peddling. I always found that they really should work on their own, those lazy buggers. So, it is with trepidation that I welcome the Dancepants [MP3 Player](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tl1-music-player). Basically, as long as you keep running or dancing, the MP3 player keeps on dropping hot joints. Using kinetic energy, these pretty concept duds are eco-friendly as well, as there are no batteries or recharging for the Dancepants MP3 player.
