Dan Hipp imbues these classic comics with [pop color and science fiction](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/star-wars-x-citizen-rebel-starfighter-boxed-set) hilarity. On one cover, Tintin assumes the role of the sex-symbol Hans Solo as he stands ruggedly posed with a smoking gun. Even his little dog Snowy is equipped for this extraterrestrial world with futuristic ear mufflers for protection. One thing's for certain, this Tintin looks a whole lot more intimidating than the original. Dan Hipp does a great job fusing the popular comic with [science fiction classics](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/star-wars-collection-2) to create these unique covers. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.0/10 - Popularity: 32% | Activity: 21% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Pop Culture](https://www.trendhunter.com/popculture) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Pop Culture Crossovers:** This trend highlights the potential for incorporating elements of popular culture into existing franchises, creating a fresh and innovative take on familiar characters. - **Comic Book Revivals:** Revamping classic comic book series with modern twists and themes can attract a new audience while rejuvenating interest in established characters. - **Visual Storytelling Remixes:** This trend showcases the power of visual storytelling by reimagining iconic comic book covers with different styles and genres, offering a fresh perspective on familiar narratives. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Entertainment:** The entertainment industry can explore the opportunity to collaborate with artists to create unique and visually stunning adaptations of beloved content. - **Art and Design:** The art and design industry can leverage the popularity of pop culture to create innovative and eye-catching artwork that resonates with fans. - **Publishing:** Publishing companies can capitalize on the trend of comic book revivals by partnering with talented illustrators to breathe new life into classic series and attract nostalgic readers. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sci-Fi-Inspired Classical Posters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sen-donnan.md) - [Reimagined Beloved Character Comics](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/marvel-and-disney.md) - [Sci-Fi Gaming Chair Covers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/secretlab-star-wars.md) - [Sci-Fi Sneaker Capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/puma-x-et-collection.md) - [Retro Space-Themed Puzzled Posters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/john-carter.md) - [Sci-Fi Film Graphic Novels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dune-the-official-movie-graphic-novel.md) - [AI-Generated Motorbike Helmets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/coldstar-art.md) - [Comic-Inspired Soda Cans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-heroes.md) - [Industrial Sci-Fi Backpacks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sprayground-x-dune.md)
