This puny living space is the product of architecture student Dai Haifei's struggle (and fail) to find a rental price in Beijing, China that suits him. This [makeshift mini-home](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-baby-box) was handcrafted by Haifei, consisting completely of [bamboo, wood chippings and grass seed](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bamboo-housing) that Dai Haifei expects to bloom and flourish in the spring.
