Da-Sein Socks celebrates creativity and individuality in fashion. With the huge popularity of [Happy Socks](http://www.trendhunter.com/trends/purposely-mis-matched-socks-happy-socks-caters-to-fashionista-feet), it was only a matter of time before another set of designers offered some fair competition. Founded by brother and sister designer duo Jessie and Carson Siu and based in Hong Kong, Da-Sein Socks was launched in March 2012.

By using Belgian [surrealist artist](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/salvador-dal-collection) Rene Magritte's famous paintings as a backdrop to showcase their designs, Da-Sein Socks show that they offer [wearable art for the feet](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/a-days-march-1). More than that, the designers write, "We completely believe that a little [pair of socks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/not-a-sock-shop) could become the centre of attention and could even overtake the world." Carrying this sentiment over to people, they show that Da-Sein Socks encourages individuals to take chances, make statements and be different.
