[Motorola](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/motorola-adaptive-display-concept) unveiled a very sci-fi new way to verify accounts at the D11 conference in California. The "password pill" developed by Proteus Digital Health is a pill that can be swallowed, "which is then powered by the acid in your stomach. Once ingested, it creates an 18-bit signal" that is activated by touching your phone, computer or other digital devices, according to manufacturers. This technology makes one's own body the "[authentication token](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ultraloq-smart-home-locks)."

Senior Vice President at Motorola Regina Dugan described this technology as "vitamin authentication."

Similar [FDA](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vibrant)-approved pills have been used in the health industry to administer regular dosages of medicines to patients, but this is the first attempt to activate technology with this method. Perhaps his could lead to an all-in-one superpill that combines health and secures personal data.
