# Crumpled Kitchens Cyril Hatt Shows Us His Wrinkled Works of Art By Brian G Randles | Published 2010-10-20 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cyril-hatt References: [curatedmag](http://www.curatedmag.com/news/2010/10/21/sculptor-cyril-hatt/) & [animalnewyork](http://animalnewyork.com/2010/10/cyril-hatts-potempkin-trains-and-things/fontaine-espace-vog-2010/) The sculptures by Cyril Hatt featured here aren't actually mangled up; rather, they are just realizations of Hatt's imagination come to life. The trains, cars and trash bins are certainly amazing to look at, but don't try putting one of his [Potemkin](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Potemkin_village) creations to good use. My personal favorite is the kitchen. It looks like Cyril Hatt put Pee-wee's Playhouse through a 7-point earthquake.
