[Burgers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ultimate-steakhouse-whopper) Architecture works in collaboration with E2 Homes Ltd. on the large Cypress retreat which is defined by a [multi-generational living design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/n7-bretscha-house) blended with a Nordic minimalism. Nature is highly considered in the design concept as the modern vacation home is nestled in the core of Whistler's [alpine landscape](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/howqua-river-lodge) and reflects on both studios' shared ideas of connection and timelessness. It is designed for a close-knit family that spans throughout three generations.

Architect Cedric Burgers took on the challenge of balancing the shared living spaces with components of a private retreat, forming a space that encourages both togetherness and independence. He speaks on the design project, sharing “Each generation had its own priorities, from playful spaces for children to serene retreats for grandparents."
