A compact design that does away with individual jars that take up too much space, the Cylindra Spice Rack is made up of what could be likened to peri dishes that load neatly into one standing contraption. Designed by Matt Carr and Helen T. Miller for [Umbra](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/umbra-buddy), the Cylindra Spice Rack is not only compact, it is also sleek and minimalist. Each individual 'dish' is finished with a movable band that allows people to sprinkle a little or a lot of seasoning. It comes in a set of six. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.2/10 - Popularity: 22% | Activity: 5% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Compact Design:** The compact design of the Cylindra Spice Rack provides an opportunity for products in various industries to offer space-saving solutions. - **Minimalist Spice Storage:** The minimalist approach of the Cylindra Spice Rack presents an opportunity for brands in the kitchenware industry to create sleek and stylish spice storage solutions. - **Versatile Seasoning Dispensing:** The movable band feature of the Cylindra Spice Rack opens up possibilities for innovative seasoning dispensers in the food industry. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Kitchenware:** The Cylindra Spice Rack introduces a disruptive innovation in the kitchenware industry with its compact and stylish design. - **Home Organization:** The compact design of the Cylindra Spice Rack offers opportunities for the home organization industry to create space-saving solutions for various products. - **Food:** The versatile seasoning dispensing feature of the Cylindra Spice Rack can inspire innovative solutions in the food industry, such as improved seasoning containers or dispensers. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Multi-Seasoning Spice Grinders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/masterpan-mastermill.md) - [Minimal Storage Tray Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spiral-tray.md) - [Flat-Packed Sleek Dish Racks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aurea.md) - [Space-Saving Cookwear](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spacesaving-cookware.md) - [Mini Kitchen Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mini-bakeware.md) - [Compact Portable Dish Racks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dish-rack-2.md) - [Stackable Tower Workstation Organizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cyl-desk-organizer.md) - [Hourglass-Shaped Kitchen Containers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grains-of-time.md) - [Curated Travel-Sized Condiments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/artisan-sauces.md)
