For Spring/Summer 2018, Russian cult label Crime x Punishment is sharing a cyberpunk fashion collection with an excessively dystopian and hallucination-like editorial. The streetwear brand's offerings are divided into three chapters: Cybercrime, World Tour and Fake. As it can be derived from the titles, Crime x Punishment sought to launch a [stylish capsule for 2018](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/undercover-5) that is also a grotesque commentary on cultural narratives.

The cyberpunk fashion collection takes cues from different aspects of Russian societal behavior, including "Internet subcultures, [sci-fi cinema](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fendi-and-mad-architects), politics, heavy metal and fast food chains." What's more, the clothing is "partly made by prisoners in Izhevsk," as Hypebeast notes.

Described as a "nightmare," the distorted and burnt-out lookbook is an example of how fashion styles and photographic representations can serve as an up-to-date commentary on the state of society and other influential industries.
