The vehicle can reportedly travel for 217 miles per charge and is capable of reaching 62 mph on six seconds. According to Sofia Ivanova, Kalashnikov's director of external communications, "The car is competing with Tesla because it's currently a successful electric vehicle project." It is unclear as to any specific advantage the CV-1 electric car has over any Tesla offerings, but Kalashnikov has stated the vehicle has "complex systems" and a "revolutionary inverter."
