Because of the low importance placed on the item itself, many people's cutlery drainers are uninspired and sometimes not very functional. This cutlery drainer by [Peleg](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dip-sea) uses an elephant in its design for both style and function. The drainer in question is called Jumbo and it takes the form of an angular elephant without a top. The trunk of the elephant siphons all the water from the cutlery into one spot and it escapes through the nose. The design of the Peleg Jumbo cutlery drainer is classic and [quirky](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ototo-and-everyplate) and makes for a cute accessory to have sitting by anybody's kitchen sink. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.6/10 - Popularity: 17% | Activity: 24% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha, Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Quirky Kitchen Accessories:** Designing unique and decorative kitchen accessories presents an opportunity to add style and functionality to everyday items. - **Animal-inspired Home Products:** Creating home products inspired by animals taps into people's love for nature and can offer a fresh and playful twist to mundane household items. - **Efficient Water Drainage Solutions:** Developing innovative water drainage solutions for kitchenware can improve functionality and streamline the kitchen cleanup process. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Home Decor:** The home decor industry can capitalize on the demand for unique and animal-themed products by creating a range of quirky kitchen accessories. - **Gift and Novelty:** The gift and novelty industry can explore animal-inspired cutlery drainers as fun and functional gift options for housewarmings and kitchen-themed occasions. - **Kitchenware:** The kitchenware industry has the opportunity to innovate in water drainage solutions, offering efficient and visually appealing drainers that enhance the user experience. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Animal-Themed Cleaning Items](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/koala-sponges.md) - [Playful Sponge Holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sponge-holder1.md) - [Elephant Teething Gloves](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moyuum.md) - [Creative Dipping Tableware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dip-sea.md) - [Flat-Packed Sleek Dish Racks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aurea.md) - [Interchangeable All-in-One Cutlery](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pinchy-cutlery.md) - [Cheeky Bathroom Plungers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stylish-plunger.md) - [Multi-Functional Pasta Spoons](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/multifunctional-pasta-spoon.md) - [Sustainable Kitchen Gear](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/legni-collection.md)
