Japanese designer Mademoiselle Yulia launches the Growing Pains Fall/Winter 2018 line-up at Amazon Tokyo Fashion Week, ultimately presenting her contemporary take on underground culture fashion. Drawing influence from Tokyo, its art, music and film movements, the designer is able to create a wide array of [heavily layered boxy pieces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/north-seainspired-fallwinter-2025-line) that encompass a rather [futuristic metropolitan aesthetic](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-future-is-not-set). Mademoiselle Yulia utilizes an extensive range of tonal coloring and the silhouettes in the Fall/Winter 2018 show are decisively unisex.

Boasting the underground culture fashion of Tokyo, Mademoiselle Yulia is able to identify a strong alienating aspect in the style and the way it manifests itself into the physical world. Of course, the Growing Pains' Fall/Winter range is "an expression of Yulia's personal style, informed by the metropolitan city."
