The CSM Automatic Toilet System acknowledges this popular practice and provides a new ready-to-use [seat cover](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bidet-toilet-seat1) for every person who enters the public bathroom stall. Bluelarix Designworks conceived this contraption so that it can be installed with any existing toilet and is thus able to be implemented immediately to improve the comfort of customers in shopping centers, restaurants, offices and more. The pressing of the flusher after use will pull the used seat protector down the drain, after which the mechanism replaces it with a new [paper-based overlay](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/toilet-bowl-cleaner-sheets). The operation of the CSM Automatic Toilet System is not explained in detail, but the implications of its application would lead to increasingly [hygienic washrooms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modern-urinal-design) and much happier patrons. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.3/10 - Popularity: 33% | Activity: 59% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Unique](https://www.trendhunter.com/unique) > [Inventions](https://www.trendhunter.com/inventions) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Self-tidying Toilet Seats:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation: Develop a smart toilet seat that uses sensors to detect when it's been used and automatically replaces the seat cover for improved hygiene. - **Paper-based Overlay:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation: Create a sustainable alternative to paper-based seat covers, such as a biodegradable or reusable material, to reduce waste and improve environmental impact. - **Automatic Bathroom Systems:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation: Integrate automatic toilet systems with other bathroom features, like touchless faucets and soap dispensers, to create a fully automated and hygienic restroom experience. ### Who This Affects Most - **Retail:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation: Implement self-tidying toilet seats in retail restrooms to enhance the shopping experience and improve customer satisfaction. - **Hospitality:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation: Incorporate self-tidying toilet seats in hotels and restaurants to provide guests with a clean and hygienic restroom facility, distinguishing the establishment from competitors. - **Office:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation: Install self-tidying toilet seats in office buildings to promote a healthier and more pleasant work environment, resulting in increased employee productivity. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Feature-Packed Smart Toilets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/neolet.md) - [Hygienic Auto-Flushing Toilets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/close-the-lid-toilet.md) - [Smart Toilet Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-toilets.md) - [Hygienic Handsfree Toilet Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/toilet-lid-closer.md) - [Antimicrobial Toilet Seats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/antimicrobial-toilet-seats.md) - [Supportive Senior Bathroom Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/clean-shield-toilet-seat.md) - [Smart Bidet Toilet Seats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/e930.md) - [Water-Free Telescoping Toilet Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/clesana-x1.md) - [Health Tracker Toilet Clips](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/throne-one.md)
