The reflective chair has various facets that change and shimmer in daylight or depending on its placement in the light, just like a crystal. The Crystallized Chair is a variation on the Cape Chair by Neo Studio and just like that chair, it is characterized by a wide back and slim front foot. Made out of thick plywood and painted a glossy white, the Crystallized Chair creates a [luminous illusion](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zoom-chair). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.7/10 - Popularity: 3% | Activity: 40% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Crystal-inspired Furniture:** There's an opportunity to create a line of furniture that uses crystal-like shapes and materials to bring a unique and ethereal appeal to modern homes. - **Reflective Art Pieces:** Artists can create reflective art pieces that incorporate mirrors or other reflective surfaces that add dimension and depth to any space. - **Geometric Furniture:** Creating furniture with unique geometric shapes and facets that reflect and refract light can add a futuristic edge to modern living spaces. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Interior Design:** Interior designers can leverage the trend of crystal-inspired furniture and reflective art pieces to create a unique and eye-catching appeal for modern homes and offices. - **Art and Sculpture:** Artists and sculptors can explore the possibilities of using reflective materials and geometric shapes to create stunning and visually dynamic art pieces. - **Furniture Manufacturing:** Furniture manufacturers can capitalize on the trend of geometric furniture by creating a line of sleek and modern pieces that incorporate unique geometric shapes and facets. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Upcycled CD Seating Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/compact-disc-chair.md) - [Water Ripples-Inspired Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/water-ripples-chair.md) - [Colour Shift Clear Seating](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/color-roller.md) - [Shimmering Cantilevered Seating Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/2023-shadow-chair.md) - [Flatpack Ultra-Modular Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nebula-chair.md) - [Stone Vein-Inspired Seating](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ana-chair.md) - [Marbles-Inspired Intricate Chair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shepherd-studio.md) - [Crystalline Acrylic Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/draga-aurel-flare-collection.md) - [Transparent Hard-Sided Sofas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spark-sofa.md)
