After a while, it became clear that Iggy was not going to get along with Ellen's cats, so Ellen gave the pup to her hairdresser's 11- and 12-year-old daughters. The shelter took the puppy away from the girls citing the agreement that Ellen has signed agreeing to return the pup to the shelter if she could not care for it.
