# Plastic Ring Flower Holders The Crown Vase by Lambert Rainville Arranges Stems Artistically By Meghan Young | Published 2014-01-15 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/crown-vase References: [neatorama](http://www.neatorama.com/2014/01/14/The-Invisible-Flower-Vase/) & [lambertrainville.wordpress](http://lambertrainville.wordpress.com/2013/05/04/crown-vase-2013/) [Flower arrangement](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/diy-crystal-floral-kits) has never been easier than with the Crown Vase. That is because it automatically creates a stunning form that doesn't even require creativity when it comes to playing with different types of flowers. Instead, a person can simply use one kind to create a criss-crossing effect with the help of the Crown Vase, which is essentially a plastic ring that holds them in that formation. Designed by [Lambert Rainville](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/net-zero-ready-home), the Crown Vase "arranges rigid stem flowers in a free-standing and decorative structure," in his own words. Place a plate of water beneath the stems, and the setup becomes much more long-lasting. Unique and stylish, the Crown Vase is the perfect arrangement for special occasions. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.1/10 - Popularity: 82% | Activity: 63% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Automated Flower Arrangement:** Opportunity for developing automated tools or devices that create stunning flower arrangements without requiring creativity. - **Simplified Floral Decor:** Opportunity for innovative products or solutions that simplify the process of creating stylish and unique floral decorations. - **Long-lasting Flower Structures:** Opportunity for designing products that enable flowers to maintain their form and freshness for an extended period of time. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Floral Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity in the floral design industry to develop automated tools to assist with flower arrangement. - **Event Planning:** Opportunity for incorporating simplified floral decoration solutions in the event planning industry to enhance aesthetics and efficiency. - **Home Decor:** Disruptive innovation opportunity in the home decor industry to create products that enable long-lasting and visually appealing flower structures. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Personalized Floral Grid Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grid-vase.md) - [Chandelier-Shaped Self-Watering Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/selfwatering-vase.md) - [Jewelry-Holding Flower Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mirror-vase-stand.md) - [Minimalist Illusory Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vaso-gota-vase.md) - [Connection-Inspired X-Shaped Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vaax.md) - [Self-Cleansing Antimicrobial Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/potr-letterbox.md) - [Speaker-Equipped Flower Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/blooming-product.md) - [Miniature Cylindrical Flower Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hanakubari.md) - [Ocean-Inspired Home Decor](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ceramic-coralshaped-vase.md)
