The light fixture is designed to be used individually or in multiples and boasts an angular, sculptural form that's almost like a modernist take on the classic croissant shape. The light fixture embraces an asymmetrical shape that plays with light and shadow to only convey its inspiration to those who are truly paying attention. The Croissant Pendant Light comes in three colors including Carbon, Snow and Smoke, and is also rated to be easy to install thanks to its mounting mechanism. The lights can come with either white or black cords for a touch of juxtaposition between the main body color scheme. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.8/10 - Popularity: 20% | Activity: 11% | Freshness: 24% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Modern](https://www.trendhunter.com/modern) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Bakery-inspired Home Decor:** Designing home decor items with a bakery-inspired aesthetic offers a whimsical and comforting element for interior spaces. - **Asymmetrical Lighting Fixtures:** The rise of asymmetrical lighting fixtures reflects a shift toward modernist designs that play with light and shadow in unique ways. - **Customizable Pendant Lights:** Customizable pendant lights with various color options and cord configurations cater to personalized consumer preferences in home lighting. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Interior Design:** Interior design integrates innovative lighting solutions that blend functionality with artistic, bakery-inspired aesthetics. - **Home Lighting:** The home lighting industry sees a growing trend of asymmetrical, sculptural fixtures that challenge traditional designs. - **Home Improvement:** Products like easily installable and customizable pendant lights are transforming the home improvement market by providing versatile options for consumers. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Baked Good-Inspired Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/croissant-pendant.md) - [Mixed Material Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gant-pendant-lights.md) - [Encapsulated Semi-Transparent Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nested-pendant-light.md) - [Dotted Glass Pendant Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/berry-polka.md) - [American Oak Pendant Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/light-bean.md) - [Maximalist Arched Pendant Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oblure.md) - [3D-Printed Cloud-Like Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lightmass-2025-pendants.md) - [Recycled Material Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zbozhzha-pendant-light.md) - [Stacked Illuminator Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/konnect-pendant-light.md)
