Art student Monte A. Smith, who also goes by the alias Senor Mysterioso, has created a unique art installation for his thesis project. Studying for a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, Monte A. Smith combined a fine material with a harsh object in this [crocheted gun store installation](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/olga-de-amaral).

The unique art work replicates a usual gun store display but is done entirely with yarn. Monte A. Smith built rifles, shotguns, pistols and even the ammo boxes you would find in a gun store. The crocheted gun store is a one-of-a-kind art installation that has already received lots of attention.

I'm not sure how long it took him to [knit together](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/macmahon-knitting-mills-and-beams) all these weapons, but the end result is astonishing and I'm sure he received an A on his thesis.
