Creek Stewart's shotgun was modified based on five categories of survival: water, fire, shelter, signaling and food. This firearm can hold different types of ammunition for hunting animals and can carry 19 rounds in total which include ones functioning as signaling flares. You can [mount a knife](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/a7-zastava) onto it as well as [a flashlight](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dualbarrel-edc) and a compass on the gun barrel. Customized storage compartments hold essentials such as fishing kits, [first aid supplies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/readystash-ai) and more. You can even start a fire with the shotgun by striking a knife against the steel rod located at the top of the stock. The list goes on for what this bad boy can do. I'm betting Rick from the Walking Dead wishes he has one handy now. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.7/10 - Popularity: 61% | Activity: 41% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 90% men, 10% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Pop Culture](https://www.trendhunter.com/popculture) > [Viral](https://www.trendhunter.com/viral) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **DIY Survivalist Weapons:** A trend of creating customized, multifunctional weapons for survival situations could arise. - **Multifunctional Gear Storage:** A trend of integrating storage compartments into gear for necessary survival supplies could arise. - **Innovative Fire-starting Techniques:** A trend of creating new ways to start fires, especially during survival situations, could arise. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Outdoor Recreation:** Companies in the outdoor recreation industry could benefit by offering services and gear catering to crafting customized survival tools. - **Emergency Preparedness:** Companies in the emergency preparedness industry could benefit by innovating new tools and technology for survival situations. - **Outdoor Retail:** Companies that sell outdoor gear and supplies could benefit by offering products that are multifunctional and help people prepare for survival situations. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Prepackaged Survivalist Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/uncharted-supply-basecamp-30l-yeti-survival-system.md) - [Tactical Survivalist Trailers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/survival-trailer.md) - [Hybridized Camping Hatchets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/camping-hatchet.md) - [Oversized Survivalist Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/basecamp-survival-kit.md) - [Proficient Pack-Friendly Axes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/camp-axe.md) - [Zombie Survival Challenges](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bullets-brains.md) - [Innovative Camping Multi-tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/camping-multitools.md) - [Adaptable EDC Axe Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/crkt-provoke-x.md) - [Carbon Fiber Handle Axes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-reaper-damascus-axe.md)
