This piece of furniture not only boasts a rather [minimalist aesthetic](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wall-desk-1), its design is not deprived of interesting elements either. Designed by DAAO Concepts, the Credenza #24 cabinet feature rather [sharp angles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sharp-table) that acts to create an abstract focal point in your home. Although it may look to be haphazardly fashioned, it has very clean lines and careful detailing. I especially like on the doors on the Credenza #24 cabinet mimic the overall shape of this unique piece of furniture. This cabinet will fit into any space nicely. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.6/10 - Popularity: 47% | Activity: 24% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Minimalist Furniture:** There are opportunities to create furniture with a simple and clean design that feature interesting and unique elements. - **Abstract Focal Points:** Designs that incorporate sharp angles and haphazard shapes can add visual interest and create a statement piece in any space. - **Mimicking Shapes:** Opportunities exist for incorporating design elements that mimic the overall shape of the piece of furniture in order to create a cohesive look. ### Where This Applies - **Furniture Design:** Innovators in this industry can explore utilizing sharp angles and minimalist design, and introduce unique elements to elevate their designs. - **Home Decor:** Designers in this space can embrace abstract focal points in furniture design to create statement pieces and add visual interest to a room. - **Interior Design:** There is an opportunity for designers to incorporate furniture that mimics the overall shape of a room in order to create a cohesive look and feel. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Offset Shelf Sideboards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/crazy-slice-sideboard-concept.md) - [Luxe Grooved Versatile Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cesar.md) - [Curvaceous Storage-Packed Sideboards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/embrace-sideboard.md) - [Stealthy Home Furnishing Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/credo-collection.md) - [Perplexingly Angular Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tadashi-side-table.md) - [Balanced Freestanding Storage](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ratio-series.md) - [Storage-Centric Minimal Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kurve-furniture.md) - [Hidden Compartment Metallic Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stainless-steel-furniture-set.md) - [Stylish Oakwood Storage Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moose-cabinet.md)
