Turning an old New York City firehouse into the headquarters of a startup company, the creative interior design choices made in this workspace are exquisite.
The new Black Ocean headquarters were redesigned from an 1890s firehouse to a communal space by design firm Architecture at Large. Creating the perfect balance between functionality and style, the creative interior design is bound to get employees excited to come into the office every morning.
Even though the outside looks a little moody and neo-gothic, the darkness of it doesn’t make its way to the interior. The decor on the inside is bright, open and bold, with interesting contrasts like earthy wood tones, pristine white walls and funky accents.
The designers made sure the layout was strategic, connected and a place for flowing creative minds.
