Past events in 2012 have included The Happiness Machine, Encounters Festival - Focus on Finland, [Bristol Reggae Explosion Live](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bristol-plastic-factory) and Pirates of the Carabina Present Flown. The business model focuses on local enterprises and partnerships with charities, volunteers, businesses and organizations to show the community's talent through collaboration. "It’s a space packed full of personality and perfect for creative, business and private events," writes the initiative on its website. "So far, a disused car park behind Temple Meads has been transformed with a full-size circus Big Top, with studios made from recycled shipping containers and much, much more arriving over the next year." The team, as well as those who attend the events, can sense the excitement to see what's next. **Contact Information** Creative Common [website](http://creativecommon.co.uk/) Creative Common on [Facebook](https://www.facebook.com/creativecommonbristol) Creative Common on [Twitter](https://twitter.com/Creative_Common) ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.0/10 - Popularity: 41% | Activity: 41% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Social Good](https://www.trendhunter.com/socialgood) > [Social Business](https://www.trendhunter.com/socialbusiness) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Community Performance Venues:** Opportunity for other cities to create performance venues that bring people together for art and socialization. - **Collaborative Events:** Opportunity for businesses to partner with local enterprises, charities, and organizations to showcase community talent through collaborative events. - **Transformation of Disused Spaces:** Opportunity to repurpose unused spaces, such as car parks or shipping containers, to create unique and exciting venues for creative, business, and private events. ### Where This Applies - **Arts and Entertainment:** Disruptive innovation potential for the arts and entertainment industry to create performance venues that foster community engagement. - **Event Planning:** Opportunity for event planning companies to integrate collaborations with local enterprises and organizations to curate unique and impactful events. - **Sustainable Architecture:** Opportunity for architects and designers to transform disused spaces into innovative and eco-friendly venues using recycled materials. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Creative Space-Enhancing Companies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bespoke-artworks.md) - [Connective Remote Working Platforms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/creare.md) - [Event Venue Finders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/coolspace.md) - [Repurposed Community Hubs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mooie-buurt.md) - [Bold Performance Pavilion Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/what-goes-around-bandstand.md) - [Creative Community Platforms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/community-platforms.md) - [Boundary-Pushing AR Outdoor Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/this-is-me-this-is-us.md) - [Multimedia Art Productions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/if-not-now.md) - [Adaptive Community Hubs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spaced-agency.md)
