If you're looking for eclectic furniture pieces, I don't think you could get more eclectic than the [Crate Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/crate-by-fourth-wave-wines). Centered around the use of -- you guessed it -- crates, it is an experiment in [multi-use cabinets, tables and more](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/expand-furniture).

Designed by [Studio Makkink](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/box-set) and Bey, the Crate Series is set to showcase at London's Spring Projects in November. Inspired by a trip to India, Rianne Makkink saw that people used crates for various purposes such as houses, shops and workplaces. Working in a warehouse themselves, the Crate Series seemed like a natural extension from their own environment.
