Devote gear heads and Ferrari aficionados may find it hard to stomach the sight of a twisted and totaled Ferrari, but that didn't stop Molinelli from inserting a compressed cube of once-sensual [Italian styling](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ria-coffee) into a [glass-top coffee table](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/blur-coffee-table). While there are those who will find the remnants of a demolished sports car depressing, many car lovers, oddly enough, also enjoy watching [luxury cars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/giorgetti-maserati-edition-collection) crash, just so long as it's not their baby in the line of fire. This strange piece of furniture is certainly raising a few eyebrows. The Crashed Ferrari Coffee Table has already generated some interest amongst A-listers. The price of this no-doubt expensive piece of decor has yet to be announced, but it is safe to say that this little number will certainly fetch a pretty penny. The Crashed Ferrari Coffee Table combines the powerful visual of destruction injected with an undeniable air of opulence that is sure to generate buzz amongst all of your lucky visitors. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.7/10 - Popularity: 32% | Activity: 41% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 90% men, 10% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Autos](https://www.trendhunter.com/autos) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Luxury Car Crash Videos:** Opportunity for creating content and experiences around luxury car crash videos for car enthusiasts. - **Upcycled Auto Decor:** Opportunity to create unique furniture pieces by upcycling salvaged auto parts. - **Controversial Design:** Opportunity to push boundaries and elicit strong emotional reactions with controversial designs. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Automotive:** Opportunity for car manufacturers to explore the demand for luxury car crash experiences and related merchandise. - **Furniture:** Opportunity for furniture companies to incorporate upcycled auto parts into their designs, appealing to eco-conscious consumers. - **Design:** Opportunity for designers to provoke discussions and challenge traditional concepts of beauty and functionality with controversial designs. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Supercar-Inspired Furniture Pieces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ufo-lamborghini-furniture-pieces.md) - [Supercar-Inspired Lounge Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/prova-mo53-lounge.md) - [Opulent Timepiece Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/corum-golden-bridge-table.md) - [Car Part-Repurposed Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/furniture-capsule-1.md) - [Wavy Sculptural Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculptural-coffee-tables.md) - [Aircraft Door Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-exit-door-table.md) - [Gaming Console Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mario-cart-coffe-table.md) - [Sculptural Timepiece Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jacob-co-and-costa-design.md) - [Automobile-Focused Home Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ralph-lauren-modern-driver.md)
