Crafting Plastics and firm Office MMK have collaborated to create a [scented room divider](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wooden-diffuser) made from bioplastic. This unique wall divider is [3D-printed from](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/econitwood) [Crafting Plastics'](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sensibiom-2) Nuatan bioplastic. This organically shaped room divider is scented with a sweet fragrance of bread and caramel produced by heating cornstarch and sugar.

Founder of Crafting Plastics Vlasta Kubušová explains that the firms wanted "to bring a new identity to bioplastics, since normally you perceive these materials through their visuality and structure, not through their smell." The wall divider comprises abstract, flower-like bioplastic pieces that dangle from the ceiling like a sculptural installation.

The design is currently on display at Salone del Mobile as a part of The Makers Show.
