The '[Cozy Cleo](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-bamboo-sheet-set)' lamp has been designed by Frederik Rasenberger of Germany-based EveryOtherDay as an [eco-friendly illuminator](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/geolectric-lantern) that combats against virgin material use for decor items. The lamp is constructed with [recycled plastic bottles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/emil-robbrecht) for the shade and recycled cardboard for the base, which combine to create a minimalist aesthetic. The cardboard for the base is shredded before paired with water and pressed using five-tons of pressure to eliminate the need for adhesives or binders, while the shade is 3D-printed using recycled plastic bottle filament.

Each 'Cozy Cleo' lamp is achieved with 200-grams of cardboard with 10 plastic bottles, which can all be recycled once again after the decor piece has reached end of life for a truly circular design.
