# Handy Storage Phone Cases The SIMPLcase is a Cover for the iPhone with a Few Tricks in Its Case By Kyle Towers | Published 2013-02-20 | Tech Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cover-for-the-iphone References: [kickstarter](http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/simonkwan/simplcasetm-minimalist-iphone-case-for-travelers) The SIMPLcase by Simon Kwan is quite a handy cover for the [iPhone](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/phone-cases1). This case does to your life exactly what it suggests in its title -- makes it simple. Within the case there are [storage compartments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sigracen-case) for spare SIM cards and an eject tool that is provided. I really enjoy the idea of having personalized compartments, and having an eject tool would make things a lot more convenient when trying to remove that fidgety SIM tray from the iPhone. Another handy thing about this cover for the iPhone is that it can team up with a card from your wallet to stand your phone up vertically or horizontally. This is great for watching video, face chatting with someone or just for everyday hands free use. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.9/10 - Popularity: 41% | Activity: 9% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Mobile](https://www.trendhunter.com/mobile) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Personalized Storage Cases:** Opportunity for creating phone cases with personalized storage compartments for SIM cards and other small items. - **Convenient Phone Accessories:** Opportunity to develop phone accessories that provide convenience, such as an eject tool for SIM cards. - **Versatile Phone Stands:** Opportunity to design phone cases that can double as stands for hands-free use. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Mobile Phone Accessories:** The mobile phone accessories industry can explore the development of personalized storage cases and convenient phone accessories. - **Consumer Electronics:** The consumer electronics industry can tap into the market for versatile phone stands that provide hands-free functionality. - **Fashion and Lifestyle:** The fashion and lifestyle industry can collaborate with phone case designers to create stylish and functional storage cases and accessories. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Photographer-Targeted Phone Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/phone-cases1.md) - [Multifunctional Smartphone Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vrs-design-origin.md) - [Smartphone-Charging Smart Wallets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smartphonecharging-smart-wallets.md) - [Magnetic Smartphone Stand Wallets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/satechi-magnetic-wallet-stand.md) - [Multifunctional Magsafe Wallets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mag-flip.md) - [Storage-Packed Smartphone Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sigracen-case.md) - [Multifunctional Stealthy Phone Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ostand-spin.md) - [Multifunctional Magnetic Smartphone Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/torras-upro-ostand.md) - [Minimalist Designer-Made Phone Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casetify-the-white-case.md)
