[Reddit](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wplace) user 'RoustanBodypaint' cleverly juxtaposed two seemingly different pop culture classics to create a super-cool cosplay costume. The costume takes the equestrian shape and colors from the animated [My Little Pony series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/my-little-pony-friendship) and amps them up with a Transformer's robotic aesthetic. The costume is comprised of several components including detailed layers of blue and gray body paint to replicate the Transformer armor. The costume features pink crystallized boots, enormous rosy wings and a blue unicorn horn. This elaborate outfit took over 12 hours to create. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.2/10 - Popularity: 23% | Activity: 35% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Cosplay Costume Mashups:** Opportunity to combine different pop culture elements to create unique and striking cosplay costumes. - **Sci-fi and Fantasy Fusion:** Opportunity to merge sci-fi and fantasy themes to create visually stunning and imaginative costumes. - **Detailed Body Paint Effects:** Opportunity to use body paint to create intricate and realistic costume designs. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Cosplay Industry:** Opportunity for costume designers and cosplayers to expand their creativity by merging different pop culture elements. - **Film and Television Industry:** Opportunity to create innovative and visually appealing costume designs that fuse different genres and styles. - **Body Paint Industry:** Opportunity for body paint artists and manufacturers to cater to the growing demand for detailed and realistic costume effects. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [AI-Generated Motorbike Helmets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/coldstar-art.md) - [Interactive Fossil-Inspired Costumes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wearable-dinosaur-costume.md) - [Custom-Built Sci-Fi Series Motorcycles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bumblebee-bike.md) - [Toy Pony NFTs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/my-little-pony-nfts.md) - [Highly Detailed Sci-Fi Costumes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stormtrooper-kit.md) - [Auto Cartoon Plushies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/transformers-reversible-plushies.md) - [Cartoon Franchise Collab Collectibles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bape-and-transformers-1.md) - [Transforming Crossover Dinosaur Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/transformers-x-jurassic-park.md) - [Futuristic Robotic Wearables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ikeuchi-hiroto.md)
