# Quirky Corner Furniture The Efasma Collection Fits Perfectly Into Unique Configurations By Charlotte Joyce Kidd | Published 2015-10-09 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/corner-furniture References: [design-milk](http://design-milk.com/furniture-collection-made-using-traditional-techniques/?utm_source=feedly&utm_medium=webfeeds) & [efasma](http://www.efasma.co.uk/) Efasma's first-ever furniture collection features corner furniture that can be arranged into totally unique [puzzle-like shapes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/puzzle-shelf). UK furniture studio Efasma launched its debut collection at London Design Week. The beautifully designed furniture pieces follow a completely original concept. Each piece of corner furniture fits into the others in brilliantly conceived ways. Rather than having a conventional one-sided back along one edge of the seat, Efasma's chairs have a corner back along two sides. They can be arranged next to each other to make diamond chain benches. Pushed into Efasma's [ergonomic table](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/boxed-collection), which has notches along its sides to accommodate the chairs' arms, they form a compact, geometrically patterned unit. Efasma uses creative, ergonomic design to produce corner furniture that fits into any space and impresses with its originality and elegance. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.4/10 - Popularity: 82% | Activity: 42% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/furniture) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Ergonomic Furniture Designs:** Efasma's corner furniture showcases innovative ergonomic designs that can adapt to different spaces. - **Modular Furniture Configurations:** Efasma's puzzle-like furniture pieces enable unique and customizable arrangements. - **Geometric Patterned Units:** Efasma's corner furniture can be arranged in compact, geometrically patterned units, adding a touch of elegance to any space. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Furniture Design:** The furniture design industry can incorporate ergonomic features and modular configurations inspired by Efasma's collection. - **Interior Design:** Interior designers can utilize Efasma's corner furniture to create unique and visually appealing spaces with geometric patterned units. - **Home Decor:** Efasma's corner furniture offers an opportunity for home decor companies to provide customers with stylish and space-saving furniture solutions. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Modular Configured Office Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cabinet.md) - [Oblong Color-Blocked Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/meritalia-morphologica-collection.md) - [Playful Geometric Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/collection-co.md) - [Customizable Puzzle-Like Seating](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pent-modular-furniture-system.md) - [Sliding Grid-Affixed Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/square-to-square.md) - [Versatile Nesting Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cozmo-1.md) - [Hidden Compartment Metallic Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stainless-steel-furniture-set.md) - [Customizable Home Decor Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rebound-furniture-collection.md) - [Modular Table Seatings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modular-table-and-chair.md)
