The cake was designed in the shape of a corgi dog and stuffed with 120 eggs, dry dog foods, 30 kilograms of wholemeal flour and fish oil in order to make the Corgi-Shaped Cake very canine-friendly. The giant Corgi-Shaped cake has already entered the Guinness Book of Records for being the world’s largest dog-friendly cake. Michelle Wibowo spent more than three weeks crafting and carving the exact shape of a corgi dog into the cake. The corgi-shaped cake was unveiled in London this week. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.5/10 - Popularity: 38% | Activity: 29% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Unique](https://www.trendhunter.com/unique) > [Bizarre](https://www.trendhunter.com/bizarre) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Canine-friendly Cakes:** Opportunity for cake designers to create unique and dog-friendly cakes for special events. - **Animal-shaped Cakes:** Growing demand for cakes shaped like animals, allowing bakers to explore creative and intricate designs. - **Guinness World Records:** Increasing interest in breaking records presents a chance for cake designers to create larger and more unique cakes. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Cake Design:** Cake designers can capitalize on the demand for unique and dog-friendly cake designs for various occasions. - **Pet Food Industry:** Opportunity for pet food manufacturers to collaborate with cake designers to create dog-friendly cake ingredients. - **Event Planning:** Event planners can incorporate Guinness World Record attempts by commissioning large, themed cakes as attractions. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Balloon Dog Cakes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/balloon-dog-cake.md) - [Dog-Friendly Cake Bites](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ultimate-celebration-cake-bites.md) - [Supersized Celebration Cupcakes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/crumbs-colossal-cupcake.md) - [Playful Biscuit-Inspired Cakes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/party-rings-celebration-cake.md) - [Dog-Friendly Cake Mixes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cake-mixes-for-dogs.md) - [Hand-Decorated Dog Cookies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/woofkies.md) - [Large Cream Chocolate Eggs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/creme-egg-2.md) - [Record-Breaking Cheesecakes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/largest-cheesecake.md) - [Branded Chocolate Caramel Cakes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cadbury-caramel-celebration-cake.md)
