# Transformative Office Furniture CORALS is Furniture for the Modern Office Space By Joey Haar | Published 2016-09-27 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/corals References: [design-milk](http://design-milk.com/corals-robert-bronwasser-palau/) & [palau.nl](http://palau.nl/) 'CORALS' by Robert Bronwasser is a set of furniture that is designed specifically for the fluctuating modality of the modern office space. Offices used to uniformly consist of row upon row of cubicles, but over the past several years that trend has shifted toward [open concept spaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/deveron-office). However, despite the freedom and light of open concept, workers still need to have private spaces as an option. Bronwasser's CORALS furniture takes the best of both worlds, allowing open concept offices to erect and move furniture and private spaces at will. CORALS consists of [lightweight, easy-to-assemble pieces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gioco) that include tracks, legs, cushions, table tops, and partitions. An office making use of CORALS would simply purchase all the pieces and put them together in the most suitable way for their space, changing it whenever they need to. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.2/10 - Popularity: 88% | Activity: 89% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/furniture) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Flexible Office Furniture:** Opportunity for furniture companies to design and create versatile and adaptable furniture solutions for the modern office space. - **Modular Office Design:** Opportunity to develop modular office layouts that can be easily customized and reconfigured to accommodate changing work dynamics. - **Collaborative Workspace Solutions:** Opportunity to provide furniture and design solutions that encourage collaboration and creativity in office environments. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Furniture Manufacturing:** Potential for furniture manufacturers to innovate and produce transformative office furniture solutions to meet the evolving needs of modern workplaces. - **Office Design and Architecture:** Opportunity for office design and architecture firms to create flexible and modular office layouts that enhance productivity and employee satisfaction. - **Interior Design and Decor:** Opportunity for interior design and decor companies to offer collaborative workspace solutions through versatile and stylish furniture designs. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Customizable Home Decor Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rebound-furniture-collection.md) - [Mountainous Modular Office Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/summit-furniture.md) - [Contemporary Dynamic Workspaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/officetopia.md) - [People-Pleasing Office Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cubicle-system.md) - [Modular Post-Pandemic Office Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/futo-collection-furniture.md) - [Customizable Office Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/steelcase-flex-personal-spaces.md) - [Modular Configured Office Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cabinet.md) - [Work-Enhancing Partitioning Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/partitioning-system.md) - [Transforming Workspace Furniture Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/asytron-furniture.md)
