Coral-Conscious Sneakers

These Sustainable Sneakers Were Launched In Honor Of World Ocean Day

Cariuma, a Singapore-based company that specializes in crafting direct-to-consumer sneakers built with a sustainability ethos in mind, has chosen to honor World Ocean Day by collaborating with Coral Vita, an organization that works towards preserving coral reefs, to release a new line of sustainable sneakers

The special-edition version of the already popular 'Oca Low' sneakers feature soles that are made with ethically sourced rubber procured without causing damage to rainforests. Elsewhere, the insoles make use of vegan cork that are designed to provide consummate comfort when you're on the move.

What's more, each and every purchase of these 'Oca Low' sustainable sneakers will help make a contribution towards coral reef restoration, as each pair sold will result in Coral Vita and Cariuma teaming up to restore 10 square cm of reef.
