# Revamped Vintage Tables The Coolors Collection Side Tables Turn Winsome Antique Styles Whimsical By Amelia Roblin | Published 2012-12-05 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/coolors-collection-side-tables References: [bocadolobo](http://www.bocadolobo.com/coolors/zaragoca.html) A quick first glance at the Coolors Collection side tables will pick up on the vintage style of the pieces, yet you cannot ignore the striking aesthetic quality of the lustrous and vivid finishes. These [Boca Do Lobo](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/boca-do-lobo-lapiaz) furnishings are the Ottoman, the Shield and the Zaragoca Side Tables. Each one has been masterly crafted from beautiful woods like mahogany and covered with delicate silver leaf to give it its spectacular shine and look of luxury. Timeless carving techniques and the influence of French empirical furniture design give the objects their curving tripod bases, their twisted and voluptuously worked columns and their [sculptural edges](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculptural-coffee-tables). But the exageration and inconsistency of the contours, combined with the [high gloss varnishes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/luis-gimeno) of amethyst, emerald, citrine and lapis give the Coolors Collection side tables a contemporary eccentricity. It makes them perfect pieces to modernize period interior design or to bring flair to stark modernist spaces. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.9/10 - Popularity: 61% | Activity: 17% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Vintage Revamp:** Designing vintage furniture with a modern twist for a unique look and feel. - **Luxury Modernism:** Creating modern furniture with opulent finishes to add sophistication to minimalist spaces. - **Eccentric Elegance:** Incorporating exaggerated shapes and vivid colors in traditional furniture designs for a bold statement. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Furniture Design:** Designing unique furniture pieces for modern and traditional living spaces to transform the rooms into something new. - **Interior Design:** Assisting clients in blending their personal aesthetic with current design trends and luxurious furnishings. - **Home Decor:** Providing trendy and innovative accents, such as revamped vintage table pieces, to add elegance to any room. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Shimmering Oceanic Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/liquid-table.md) - [Raw Cast-Bronze Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/corca-side-table.md) - [Chic Sustainable Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oceanides-table-collection.md) - [Colorful Contemporary Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/runda-tables.md) - [Colorful Modern Glass Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/soda-side-table.md) - [Frosted Light Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zen-collection-1.md) - [Candy-Inspired Cylindrical Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/candy-table.md) - [Contemporary Elegant Table Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modern-table-designs.md) - [Playful Accent Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bug-table.md)
