The system works by being set up with water in the reservoir tank and makes use of the Chili Cool Mesh [mattress topper](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ai-powered-smart-cover) that can be used in a dual-sided manner. The system can then be set to a temperature of 55 to 115-degrees Fahrenheit to perfectly suit the needs of those who [sleep hot](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/night-sweat-menopause-bedding) as well as those who run cold. The ChiliSleep Cube cooling sleep system will automatically turn off when the water level is low to streamline use. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.1/10 - Popularity: 55% | Activity: 28% | Freshness: 10% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Temperature-regulating Bed Systems:** Opportunity for companies to create innovative sleep systems that can heat or cool automatically based on individuals' comfort needs. - **Smart Bedding:** Opportunity for manufacturers to develop more connected and customizable bedding with features like temperature control and automatic shut-off. - **Sustainable Bedding:** Opportunity for companies to develop eco-friendly and biodegradable bedding materials to minimize environmental impact. ### Who This Affects Most - **Bedding:** Bedding companies can leverage technology to create sleep systems that cater to individual comfort needs. - **Smart Home:** Opportunity for companies specializing in smart home technology to develop innovative bed temperature regulating systems. - **Sustainability:** Bedding companies can focus on sustainability and environmentally friendly production methods to cater to conscious consumers. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Mattress-Cooling Sleep Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sleepme-dock-pro-sleep-system.md) - [Temperature-Regulating Mattress Covers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/eight-sleep-pod-cover.md) - [Quick-Cooling Bedding](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bedsures-cooling-bedding.md) - [Nocturnal Temperature Control Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/homiffi.md) - [Temperature-Regulating Pillows](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/375-pillow.md) - [Triple-Layer Cooling Pillows](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/night-ice-performance-pillow.md) - [Comfort-Enhancing Cooling Bedding Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cooling-bedding1.md) - [Reversible Cooling Comforters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/reversible-cooling-comforter.md) - [Smart Cooling Pillow Covers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pod-pillow-cover.md)
