# Cool Color Palette Offices This Office is Adorned With Pops of Purple, Blue and Green By Mishal Omar | Published 2016-07-05 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cool-color References: [officesnapshots](https://officesnapshots.com/2016/06/22/opentext-offices-reading/) & [areasq](http://www.areasq.co.uk/) This office space was designed using a [cool color palette](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chameleon-workplace) as the primary focus. Created by design firm Area Sq, this space was meant to adequately fit an evolving team at the enterprise management software company OpenText in Reading, England. The office was expanded to include areas in which the employees could collaborate and relax, including a "[contemporary work space](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rock-capital-warsaw-office)," breakout hubs, meeting rooms, a town hall space and a cafe. Most interesting are the cool colors that can be seen throughout the office -- in blue paintings on the walls, in purple armchairs and in green and blue cafe seating. By following a color theme to create this [renovated office space](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/maison-perron), the company managed to design an area that is visually pleasing while still functioning as a practical work space. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.9/10 - Popularity: 91% | Activity: 48% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Cool Color Palettes:** Opportunities for incorporating cool color palettes into office designs to create visually pleasing and functional workspaces. - **Collaborative Workspaces:** The rise of office designs that prioritize collaboration and relaxation areas, such as breakout hubs and town hall spaces. - **Cafe-style Office Spaces:** The integration of cafe-inspired seating and layouts within office spaces, creating a casual and comfortable work environment. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Interior Design:** Innovative approaches to office design that incorporate cool color palettes and collaborative workspaces. - **Furniture and Furnishings:** Opportunities for providing furniture and decor that complements the use of cool color palettes in office designs. - **Software and Technology:** Development of enterprise management software that caters to the needs of evolving office spaces with a focus on collaboration and relaxation areas. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Mid-Century Tonal Cozy Offices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/drama-republic.md) - [Bright Colorful Workshop Offices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/office-sm.md) - [Colorful Creative Workspaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/podimo-office.md) - [Art Gallery-Inspired Offices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/maniera.md) - [Contrasting Workspace Interiors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/workspace-interior.md) - [Reinvented Office Spaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mislad.md) - [Adaptive Color Workstations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chameleon-workplace.md) - [Software Company Polish Offices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fresha.md) - [Ultra-Playful Studio Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bright-workspace.md)
