Venezuelan Enrique Luis Sardi’s design, the Cookie Cup, lets eco-conscious coffee lovers drink from an edible cup. Sardi teamed up with socially responsible Italian coffee company, [Lavazza](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lavazza-tabli), to bring the eco-friendly Cookie Cup protoype and packaging design to reality.

The biscotti-like Cookie Cup saves on [disposable cup waste](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/verigreen-plus) and non-disposable cup clean up. An insulating, waterproof icing sugar keeps heat and coffee safely inside the [edible Cookie Cup](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/biscuit-saver) until it is consumed.

Too bad they didn’t use the Cookie Cup for the Lavazza ad in the video above. It’s perfect for a coffee island.
