It is presented by Vince Skelly, who is a furniture maker and sculptor based in California. The display showcases a range of [monolithic sculptures and furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/series-no-ii) that are made from [fallen or recovered local trees](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/no1-common) from a Claremont windstorm. Vince Skelly is often inspired by prehistoric themes in the form of its tools, structures, and architecture. He shares, “I tend to turn to [megalithic structures for inspiration](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pure-exhibition), including stone Dolmen structures which are, of course, ancient but at the same time feel almost modern in their clean lines, minimalist shapes, and construction by way of natural materials."
